Here’s the story. A very dear friend of mine, the insanely amazing and talented Ms. Sylvia Holden, called me up and said that she was opening a new bar & live music venue in the long time home of the Elbo Room in SF. She said they needed a logo — or actually, she said they needed a neon sign, because that is already how Sylvia was envisioning it. Sylvia is one of my absolute favorite people to collaborate with as it feels like we can mind meld and I can see what it is she is envisioning in her crazy, wonderful brain. Sylvia shared her mood boards with me for the interiors of the place and talked me through the vibe she was envisioning, and I threw her some options.
Before I knew it, there was a sign, it was up and fabulous on this iconic corner, and it was getting bashed by internet trolls! I’ve never been so proud ;)
